About Mike
This isn't a chain shop. It's one guy, one shop, doing the work he loves.
Mike grew up riding BMX in St. Louis — hitting every park, street spot, and sketchy DIY ramp he could find. Bikes weren't just a hobby. They were everything.
After years of wrenching on his own bikes and his friends' bikes, he realized he was spending more time in the garage than on the street. So he leaned into it. He picked up powder coating, got serious about builds, and turned a passion into a trade.
Mike's Rad Bikes started out of a two-car garage and hasn't looked back. Every bike that leaves the shop is built the way Mike would want his own bike built — dialed in, durable, and looking absolutely rad.
Every build gets the same attention whether it's a $200 beater or a full custom. The work is the work.
You'll always know what something costs and why. No surprise charges, no upselling stuff you don't need.
A bike that looks good but rides like garbage isn't done. Everything gets tuned and tested before it leaves.
St. Louis is home. Mike's not going anywhere, and neither is the shop.
